HEALTH: Students have been assigned to small groups to research a focus area in Healthy Eating. Students will be provided a copy of their online work to them independently design an informative poster. (The poster will be presented to the class later in the week)


SCIENCE: students have been assigned a research topic for our Electricity Unit. REFER to the Big Idea questions Grade 5/6 OUTLINE; student generated guiding questions to research their topic and how it relates to conservation and/or how it transforms into electricity from it raw form. Groups have been re-organized into their impact home group where each expert with share with others member to compare and contract energy form. Class time provided and at-home will be useful to support group members.

WRITING: over the next two weeks, students will write their final draft of their mystery story, referring to feedback from author A.Misri and discussions during writers workshop Google Classroom Mystery Writing 

MATH: Data Management: Looking at ways to organize data in graphs that best represent information (mean, median, mode, range).
Bowling: Finalize all parts for Section C

SOCIAL STUDIES:  Students will be analyzing how different communities have shaped the evolution of Canada's present.  Using your inquiry anchor question sheets- generate a question that will help you investigate your topic, find one resource that will help to support your group research.  Use the group generated questions and guiding question and investigate your topic that will help support your understanding of the big idea.
