Tanya Spoken Word Poet Workshop- the students in Room 301/308 will be participating in a two day workshop with a spoken word poet.  During this two day workshop they will be engaging in writing poetry, using elements of poetry, performing and learning about the art of spoken work poetry.  The League of Canadian Poets will be subsidizing part of the workshop and each student will bring in $9 to cover the remaining cost of the workshop.  Due Wednesday

Bowling Trip- All forms and money are due in by Wednesday (3-4 volunteers are needed for this trip)
 
MATH:  Wrapping up our unit on Geometry: identifying and constructing figures
Measurement Unit launching this week... begin sharing strategies that you might use to solve the Bulletin Board/Chocolongo Bar Challenge within the Math Blog

LANGUAGE: 
POETRY: Mindset Poem first draft, review videos and class generated anchor charts in Google Classroom
POETRY:  Finish working on Duck Poem, Pollination Poem, Tagul

**REMEMBRANCE DAY (CANADIAN WAR HERO): students were introduced to TimeToast.com an online interactive timeline they will be using for their short Biography. Class time will be provided each day; some home time may be needed. PAST DUE
